BE IT ORDAt NED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C,'TY OF COLLEGE STAT ION ,TE,>AS:
WHEREAS, the CIty Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at.7 00 P.M. on
Thursday, February 23, 1984 on the question of rezon ng certain areas
within the City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of the following tract of land lying and being
situated in the M6rgan Rector league, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brazos County,
Texas and being more fully described by me~es and bounds as follows:
A 6.34 acre tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector
League, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brazos County, Texas and being a portion of a
33.63 acre tract heretofore conveyed to JamesE. Jett, Inc. by W. R. Newton, Trustee by
deed recorded in Volume 515, Page 191 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas and
being more partfcularly'described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the northwest corner of Lot 19 of Richards Subdivision an addition to
the City of College StatIon, as recorded in Volu"me 137, Page 25 of the Deed Records of
, Brazos County, Texas;
THENCE N 4600015511 W for a distance of 329.56 feet;
THENCE N 44056 155" E for a distance of 462.49 feet to the begi nn i ng of a curve to
the rlght;
THENCE northeasterly along said curve to the right for an arc distance of 435.10
feet to the end of said curve; (Curve Data: Central Angle = 2405514511; Radius = 1000.00
feet; Tangent = 221.05 feet; the Chord Bears N 5702414811 E for a dlstance of 431 .67 feet);
THENCE S 4405510511 E for a distance of 233.84 feet;
THENCE S 4404710911 W for a distance of 877.90 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and
containing 6.34 acres of land, more or less, from Single Family Residential District R-l
to General Commercial Distrlct C-1.
And, it is ordained that said changes shall become effective immediately.
