Double Parking Row: Two parallel rows of spaces for the parking of motor
vehicles a rrangedso that when parked, the front end of each motor vehi c 1 e
faces the front end of another motor vehicle as illustrated in Figure 2.
Parking Seace:Aspaceused for the parking ofa motor vehicle, where
said space is not less than nine (9} feet wide, twenty (20) feet19ng,
and contains not less than one hundred and eighty (180) square feet of area.
Plantabl.e Area: That area contained within the boundaries of a raised
island' as described by the provisions ofthiso-rdina.nce.

7-D.7. REVIEW AND APPROVAL BY THE PROJEClREVIEW COMMITTEE: Any individual

plan to.the Director of Planning. If the plan' includes nineteen (19) parking
spaces or less, the Director of P] anningshall submit said plan to the appropriate
staff for review according to the standards established in this ordinance and
other ordinances of the City of College Station. If the plan includes twenty
(20) parking spaces or more the Director of Planning shall notify the individual
of the time, date ,and place for the planrevi ew by the Project Review Commi ttee
(P.R.C.). The deliberations of theP.R.C. shall be recorde.dandfiled in the
o ffi ce of the DirectorofPlanni ng. TheP . R. C .sha 11 submit written recommen-
dations to the Planning and Zoning Commission prior to the next regularly scheduled
meeting of the Commission. A copy oft:hereport shall be sent to the individual(s)
seeking approval of the plan. The P.R.G.may recommend the imposition of additional
conditions and may furth.ermodi fy the literal terms of thi sord;nance where
such modifications are essential to preserve the intent <of thts, ordinance and
where sai dmodi ficati ons willi nsure the protection 0 f the Pllfuli c. hea 1 th , safety,
and general welfare. The individual submitting a plan of nineteen (19) or less
spaces may appea:l" the staff review by following the same procedure as that for

7-D.10~ PENALTIES: Any property owner failing to comply with the provisions
of this ordinance .shall receive written notification from the City Building
Official of said violation. If within thirty (30) days after receipt of said
notification, the aforementioned person fail s to comply with the Q,rdersof the
written notification,helshe shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and liable for a
fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($2S.00) nor more than two hundred
dollars ($200.00). Each day such violation shall be permitted to exist shall.
constitute a separate offense.
7-0.11. FORMAt APPEALS: Appeals from the provisions of this ordinance shall
be pursued inaccordancewtththe process outlined in Sect; on 11-D of Ordinance
