HomeMy WebLinkAboutMiscellaneous n"l<::... December 19,1990 RE: ARBY'S 1800 Southwest Parkway College Station,TX Dear Col. Wilson: Our agreement stated that a line oflarge~sizedCrepe Myrtle plants along the Southwest Parkway frontage would suffice for your compliance with the landscape ordinance under which you. were built (in. 1982). The placement of one evergreen juniper on the east . end of said Crepe Myrdeline was. also acceptable. While this technically does noLtneet the street .tree requirements of that ordinance, it is sufficient on this site as there are . overhead utility lines along the entire front and canopy trees should not be planted thereunder. Therefore our. mutual agreement was for. the. addition of the shorter-growing Crepe Myrtles and the juniper so as to not create a hazardous situation and heavy pruning requirements should canopy trees grow into the. overhead lines. In conclusion, as . of the date of inspection (12/10/90) the. plants were installed properly, as agreed upon, and met the landscape ordinance. Proper maintenance and watering must be done in order to insure continued compliance. Thank you very much. for. you voluntary response to our Landscape inventory. The site looks very good.
