AN ORDINANCE REZONING 20.965 ACRES OF A 70.293 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE MORGAN RECTOR SURVEY, A-46, IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING MORE FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM AGRICULTURE OPEN SPACE DISTRICT A-O TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-l. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council held a publ ic hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on , 1983 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city 1 imits; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following: To rezone or change the classification of the following tract of land lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector Survey, A-46, in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being a part of that 70.293 acre tract conveyed to Windwood Joint Venture by Leon W. Stasney, et-al, by deed recorded in Volilime 377, page 34 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: . BEGINNING: at an iron rod at the East corner of lot 43, block one of Wind- wood, Phase Two according to a plat r~corded in volume 463, page 365 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas; THENCE: S 32006153" E - 624.82 feet to an iron rod for corner; said iron rod also being the beginning of a curve to the left, having a radius of 835.00 feet; THENCE: S 2201814811 E - 181.98 feet along the chord of said curve to the left to an iron rod for corner; THENCE: S 4402815311 E - 211.08 feet to an iron rod for corner; THENCE: S 44053151" W - 1011.02 feet to an iron rod for corner; said iron rod also being the East right-of-way 1 ine of 1St ate Highway No.6; THENCE: N 29018100" W - 274.68 feet along said right-of-way 1 ine to an iron rod for corner; THENCE: N 25005105" W - 600.61 feet along said right-of-way 1 ine to an iron rod for corner; THENCE: N 17031117" W - 257.95 feet along said right-of-way line to an iron rod for corner, said iron rod also being the most Southerly corner of lot 36, block one of Windwood, Phase Two according to a plat recorded in volume 463, page 365 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas; THENCE: N 60011149" E - 190.51 feet to an iron rod for corner; THENCE: N 4503015211 E - 591.54 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING: and containing 20.965 acres of land, more or less, according to a survey made under the supervision T. Ordinance No. page 2 of Donald D. Garrett, Registered Public Surveyor No. 2972 in July 1982 from Agriculture ~ Open Space District A-O to Single Family Residential District R-l.
