SHELLEY 15 September 1982 Mr. Jim Callaway City Planning Department City of College Station P.O. Box l;;Il;;I60 College Station, Texas 77840 Re: Sewer Capacity in Area of 35 Acre Zoned M-2 Dear Mr. Callaway: This letter will serve as a memo regarding our meeting today. The capacity of the 15" trunk sewer which would serve the above referenced site is limited in capacity. This capacity is limited because of the wet weather overflow from the 10" line in Christine Lane and the 12" overflow at Bee Creek Park. Based upon the existing dwelling units in place and what is proposed on a 35 acre tract east of Holleman Drive, north of Loop 2818, the trunk sewer is at maximum capacity. The area west of Holleman Drive and north of Loop 2818 is therefore growth limited by the above overflows. If this area is to develop, it would require the construc- tion of a 24" sewer from By-Pass 6 west to Southwood Drive along Bee Creek. This would allow for a 3600 PE capacity increase of the existing 15" trunk sewer serv- ing this area. (This is a proposed improvement in the Year 2000 Plan.) I hope that this information is helpful to the City's planning of this area. If you have any further questions, please call. Sincerely, ~~J) rv{JNevv- Edward McDow cc: Mr. Elrey Ash, II, P.E.
