AN ORDINANCE REZONING FOUR TRACTS OF LAND LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE RICHARD CARTER LEAGUE, A-8, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-l, APARTMENTS LOW DENSITY DISTRICT R-4 AND GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C-l TO TOWNHOUSE-ROWHOUSE DISTRICT R-3, ADMINISTRATIVE-PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT A-P. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 1982, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city 1 imits; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following: To rezone or change the classification of the following four (4) tracts of land all lying and being situated in the Richard Carter League, A-8, College Station, Brazos County, Texas and being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows: TRACT NO. Being a 0.124 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Richard Carter League, A-8, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being a part of the 91.984 acre tract conveyed to Brazosland Properties, Inc. by Bert Wheeler, Trustee, in the Deed recorded in Volume 485, Page 499, of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a concrete right-of-way marker found marking the east corner of the 91.984 acres tract, said concrete right-of-way marker being located in the southwest right-of-way 1 ine of the State Highway No.6 East By-pass; THENCE N 3600910211W along the southwest right-of-way 1 ine of the State Highway No.6 East By-pass, same being a northeast 1 ine of the 91.984 acres tract, for a distance of 640.00 feet to a point for corner; THENCE S 53050149"W for a distance of 113.81 feet to a point for the PLACE OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract of land; THENCE S 44021 '391~ for a distance of 638.26 feet to a point for corner, said point being located in the northeast right-of-way 1 ine of a proposed street; THENCE N 4503812l"W along the northeast right-of-way 1 ine of the proposed street for a distance of 4.03 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 44021 '3911E for a distance of 270.00 feet to a point for angle point; THENCE N 40025134'IE for a distance of 244.36 feet to a point for angle point; THENCE N 53050'4911E for a distance of 126.19 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING contain- int 0.124 acres of land, more or less, from Single Family Residential District R-l to Townhouse-Rowhouse District R-3. .. TRACT NO. 2 Being a 1.514 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Richard Carter League, A-8, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being part of the 91.984 acres tract conveyed to Brazosland Properties, Inc. by Bert Wheeler, Trustee, in the Deed recorded in Volume 485, Page 499, of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: ~ Page 2 ~ . TRACT NO. 4 Being a 2.269 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Richard Carter League, A-8, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being part of the 91.984 acres tract conveyed to Brazosland Properties, Inc. by Bert Wheeler, Trustee, in the Deed recorded in Volume 485, Page 499 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: .
