AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 12.934 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING IN THE ROBERT STEVENSON SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 54, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING PART OF THE 13.74 ACRE TRACT CONVEYED TO MICHAEL J. MUTH, ET UX BY MRS. RACHEL E. FALKNER, ET AL BY DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 167, PAGE 632, DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM AGRICULTURAL OPEN DISTRICT A-O TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C-l. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council held a publ ic hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 13, 1982, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the City Limits: AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the fol lowing: To rezone or change the classificationof all that certain 12.934 acre tract of land in the Robert Stevenson Survey, Abstract No. 54, Brazos County, Texas and being more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at the most westerly corner of the above described 13.74 acre tract, same being in the Northeast R.O.W. 1 ine of State Highway No.6; THENCE N 450 OO'E, along the Northwest line of said 13.74 acre tract, for a distance of 613 feet to an iron rod for corner; THENCE S 450 00' E for a distance of 915 feet to an iron rod for corner in the Northwest R.O.W. line of the Rock Prairie Road; o THENCE S 51 00' W, along the Northwest R.O.~I. 1 ine of Rock Prairie Road, for a distance of 246 feet to an iron rod for corner at Curry Plumbing 1.00 acre tract; THENCE N 310 22' W, along said Curry tract, for a distance of 125 feet to an iron rod for corner; THENCE S 51010'25'1 W, continuing along said Curry tract, for a distance of 595 feet to an iron rod for corner in the Northeast R.O.W. line of State Highway No.6; THENCE N 29036'3411 W, along said Northeast R.O.W. 1 ine,for a distance of 730 feet to the point of beginning, containing 12.934 acres of land more or less, from Agricultural Open District A-O to General Commercial District C-l.
