AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 3.34 ACRE TRACT OF LAi~ LYING IN THE CRA\f.FORD BURNETT LEAGUE.
ABSTRACT NO.7. COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE FULLY DESCRIBED
BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT
C-N TO PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C-3.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on
Thursday. March 25, 1982, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
City Limits;
AND. WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain 3.34 acre tract of land
in the Crawford Burnett League, Abstract No.7, College Station, Brazos County.
Texas and being more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the west right-of-way line of Welsh Avenue. said point also
being the most easterly corner of Lot 2 of the \Vhit1ey Addition, a subdivision to
the City of College Station, Texas according to plat filled in Volume 447, page 365
of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas;
THENCE S 41054'27" E - continuing along the west right-of-way line of Welsh Avenue
a distance of 467.95 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE S 45028'23" W - a distance of 300.73 feet to a point for corner;

THENCE N 44030'45" W - a distance of 466.69 feet to a point for corner, said point
also being the most westerly corner of the aforsaid Whitley Addition. Lot 2;
THENCE N 45020'06" E - along the south line of the aforsaid Whitley Addition. Lot 2
a distance of 322.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGIN~ING and containing 3.34 acres of
land, more or less, from Neighborhood Business District C-N to Planned Commercial
District C-3. '
And. it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
