It also required one tree for every 30 linear feet of frontage to be placed along the frontage. To remove any trees from interior islands as Mr. Bernstein wishes may be done under the circumstance that current ordinance requirements be met. This would include meeting required landscape points and streetscape requirements. The following items reflect our discussion. I. Site requires 4035 points One half of these points must be ion canopy trees. 2. Streetscape requirements: .. Eity will allow calculations to be based on SH 30 frontage only (minus any curb openings) This results in the need for 27 streetscape trees. Cedar Elms and existing Oaks are acceptable. Two crepe myrtles may be substituted for each one streetscape tree (Any new crepe myrtle plantings must be white) Streetscape planting locations may include the Dartmouth frontage as well. Exis~ing trees along SH 30 and Dartmouth may count toward the 27 tree streetscape req Ulrement. Existing trees larger than 4" caliper may receive 200 points. ~ay Havens (764-3680) will be glad to meet someone on site about the possibility of relocating trees In the adjacent easement. These plantings may not count toward the required landscape points, however. The City will need a new landscaping plan reflecting the above changes. As we had discussed, Andy is not building anything that would cause him to submit a new plan for approval. This "existing plan" shows that Post Oak Village has double the points required by the landscape ordinance. please send Andy a letter allowing him to maintain and dress up the existing landscaping as indicated on this plan. Thank you. Sincerely, ~s President I t ,.L_.' , . ,~r. I l,. i.,.':"'\o,;,. 'i
