HomeMy WebLinkAboutMiscellaneous Feb. 5, 1991 Debra Warren 1907 Dartmouth College station, TX RE: Parkway Circle Apts.on Southwest Parkway Dear Ms. Warren: This letter is to confirm the content of our meeting on this date. It is in response to your questions regarding the landscaping at Parkway Circ.le Apartments as part of your research prior to purchase. Please be aware that after a request frolnParkway Circle during the voluntary periodin.Nov. 1990, I inspected the property. I found that they were substantially .outof . compliance due., to lack of many, trees. This development is covered under a previous ordinance that requires basically a tree alongthe.streetfrontage every 30' and one tree per single parking island and 2 trees per double parking island. Most of the trees internal to the site and on the islands were missing as were the street trees. I suggested th.at who, ever is responsible for bringing the development into compliance read all the material I gave to you, and get back with me concerning their plan and for details and approval before any actual planting is done. As the voluntary period for compliance has ended, the City is in the process of enforced compliance with the Landscape Ordinanc'e ~ The Planning Division is inspecting each and every 'parcel which is covered under the ,current ,.. or previous" landscape ordinance., ,The city is being covered sequentially, and it is estimated that inspec'tion would occur at Parkway Circle. in March or April, 1991. At that time if the apartments are still not in compliance, the case will be turned over to the Enforcement Coordinator for further action, which may include filing of charges in Municipal Court. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call. Since.rely, Nanette M.
