FI01: SUBJ:ECI' : Projec:t review - Safeway Addition - CUlpepper Plaza The P .R.C. net on Fridz~:y, May 22, 1981, to review the prop::>sed plan for the addition to the Safeway store in CUlpepper Plaza, an addition of approximately 9730 square feet on the southend of the store. This will require at least 49 parking spaces, and the addition will also delete 44 spaces existing. The P. R. C. reconmends approval with the following coruli tions : (1) Close pennanently the curb cut on Texas Avenue that is presently barricaded: (2) Add parking spaces to the drive area adjacent to this curb cut: (3) Stripe the designated parking spaces in the rear of CUlpepper Plaza according to the original plan: (4) Landscape the islands in the parking lot in a nanner approved by the P & z; (5) Extend the front fire lane at the addition arrl redesign the curbed area at. the addition to cause no conflict with the entrance on Harvey Road; (6) Hold the certificate of occupancy on the addition until all these conditions have been net and approved by the City. ~ /.f _ 01 ; " Number COLLEGE STATION BANK, N.A. 23 P.O. All drafts under this credit must be marked: "Drawn under College Station Bank, College Station,. Texas, Credit No. 23 ." Box 40524 Houston, Texas 77040 Dear Mr. Weine: The following are the conditions required by the City as the approval of the addition to the Safeway store in Culpepper Plaza: (1) Close permanently the curb cut on Texas Avenue that is presently barricaded; (2) Add parking spaces to the drive area adjacent to this curb cut; (3) Stripe the designated parking spaces in the rear of Culpepper Plaza according to the original plan; (4) Landscape the islands in the parking lot in a manner approved by the P & z; (5) Extend the front fire lane at the addition and redesign the curbed area at the addition to cause no conflict with the entrance on Harvey Road; (6) Widen and redesign the Dominik curb cut; (7) Redesign the northernmost public curb was on Texas Avenue to discourage left turns. (8) Widen the Harvey Road curb cut nearest Safeway; (9) Hold the certificate of occupancy on the addition until all these conditions have been met and approved by the City.
