FINISHING , . . 5.1 AFTER CONC~ETE HAS BEEN STRUCK OFF AND CON- SOLIDATED, A BULLFLOAT MAY BE USED TO REMOVE ANY HIGH OR LOW SPOTS. BULLFLOAT USE SHALL BE CONFINED TO A MINIMUM. A FINAL SKID-RESISTANT FINISH SHALL BE MADE WITH A BURLAP DRAG OR BROOM. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, FORMWORK, EQUIPMENT, AND SERVICES REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ALL THE CONCRETE PARKING AREA WORK SHOWN THE DRAWINGS AND SPECIFIED HEREIN, INCLUDING SIDHJALKS, CONCRETE PAVEMENTS, RAMPS, AND CURBS. 2. JOINT DEPTH SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF ONE-FOURTH THE SLAB THICKNESS. HAND- FORMED JOINTS SHALL HAVE A MAXIMUM EDGE RADIUS OF ~ IN. ALL STEEL TO BE SET ON 1~" PLASTIC HIGH CHAIRS. 7.9 OFFSET CONTROL JOINTS TO AVOID ACUTE ANGLES OR Sl-1ALL PIECES OF SLAB AT CURVES. OFFSETS SHOULD BE AT LEAST 13z FT. OPENING TO TRAFFIC 8.1 THE PAVEMENT SHALL BE CLOSED TO PASSENGER CAR TRAFFIC FOR AT LEAST THREE FULL DAYS OR UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT THE MINIMUM COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF THE CONCRETE IS AT LEAST 75% OF ITS DESIGN STRENGTH.
