stitute, and appoint PHYLLIS HOBSON of College Station, Brazos County,
Texas, my true and lawful attorney in fact for me and in my name, place,
and stead to file all necessary and proper applications, documents, and
forms as may be required by the City of College Station, Texas, with
the City's Palnning and Zoning Commission and/or the City Council
of the City of College Station, to obtain maps and surveys as may be
required and to make such appearances on my behalf as may'be needed,
all for the purpose.. of seeking to obtain from said City a re- zoning of
the hereinafter described tract of land owned by me, as my separate
property as estate, from its current zoning classification to a new
zoning classification of C-l for use by general commercial occupants.
In this regard and for this limited purpose, the said PHYLLIS HOBSON,
as my attorney in fact, is authorized and empowered to include the land
owned by me with other tracts or parcels in the same area and location
so as to present an application for re-zoning an entire area of which my
land is a part or may, at her election, submit my property separatly
and independent of other tracts, as she deems appropriate. This power
of attorney shall not, how'ever, authorize my said attorney in fact to
seek or agree to any re-zoning of my property for other than a C-l
classification without additional expressed writt:e.n authorization from
me which would thereafter form a part of this power of attorney by
wt"ltten addendum. By reference to classification C-l, it is my in-
tent to mean a general commercial classification. Property which I
ow'n and which shall be the subject of this power of attorney is described

the Lakeview Acres Subdivision.out of the Morgan
Rector Survey, Brazos County, Texas, containing
seven and one-half '(7i) acres, more or less, SAVE
AND EXCEPT a parcel approximately 112 feet on
Miller Lane and running 170 feet for depth as con-
