The College StBtionCity CouncLl will hold a public hearing on the
question of rezoning the following tract: 7.086 acres located at the
intersection of Highway 6 East Bypass and Texas. Avenue and approximately 150 feet
south of Hile Drive from Single F.amily Residential District R-l to Genral Connnercial
District C-l and Administrative/Professional District A-P. The application is in

The College Station Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public
hearing on the question of rezoning the following tract: 7.086 acres
located at the intersection of Highway 6 East Bypass and Texas Avenue and approximately
150 south of Mile Drive. from Single Family Residential District R-lto General Com~

The hearing will be held in, the Courtroom of the new. College Station Police Station

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
This is to notify you that an application to rezone a piece of property located
within 200 feet ofa property owned by you has been received by the City of
College Station and will be considered at two public hearings held as follows:
Planning and Zoning Commission: 7:00 P.M., Thursday, January 4, 1979
City Council: 7:00 P.M., Thursday, January ll, 1979.
Both of these hearings will be held in the Courtroom of the new College Station
Police Station, 26ll South Texas Avenue. You are invited to attend the hearings
and express your. opinion either for or against the requested rezoning.
The details of the request are as follows:
Location: The property in question is a 7.086 acre tract bounded by the East
Bypass and Texas Avenue and is approximately 150 fe.e,t south. of Mile Drive.
Present and Proposed Zoning: The property is now zoned District R-l, Single Family
Residential. The applicant requests that the property be rezoned to General
Commercial District C~l and Adminstrative/Professional District A-P. (see map)
Applicant: The applicatiqn is in the name of Mr. Ronald Cruse, 2906 Brothers
Blvd., College Station. Mr. Cruse is acting as agent for Mr..Ray B. Criswell,
Jr.
