AN ORDINAK;EREZONING CERTAIN TRACTS OF LAND IN THE MORGAN RECTOR LEAGUE"
COLLEGE STATION~TEXAS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS
ORDINAN:EFROM SI~LE FAMILY RESIDE1ITIAL DISTRICT R-I TO MOBILE HOlvIE
PARK DISTRICT R-5 AS SPECIFIED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDlNAM:;E.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUi'CIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WtIEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City' Hall at 7:00 P..M.
on Thursday, September 9, 1976 on the question of rezoning certain areas
within the city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of those certain tracts of land in 1
the Morgan Rector League, Brazos C.ounty, Texas, and being a part of the tract
of land conveyed to Glynn A.. Williams, L..E., Winder, Jr., and C.W.. King by
deed recorded in Volume 254, Page 432, of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
FIRST TRACT: '
BEGINNING at an iron rod in the northwest line of Krenek L~ne located
S 45000' W - 872.88 feet from an iron rod marking the east corner of the
above mentioned Williams, et al tract (Volume .254, Page 432, Deed Records
of Brazos County, Texas);
THEK;E, N450 00' W for a distance of 756.19 feet to an iron rod in the
northwest fence line of said Williams, et al tract;
THEK;E, S 440 28' 59" W along a fence line for a distance of 172.44 feet
to an iron rod for corner;
THEl\CE, S 450 00 t E for a distance of 754.64 feet to an iron rod. for corner
in the northwest line of Krenek Lane,
THE.~E, N 450 00 I E along the northwest line of Krenek Lane for a distance
of 172.44 feet to the PLACE OF BEGI-NNlt{; and containing 2.990 acres of land,
more or less from Single Family Residential DistrictR-l to Mobile Home Park
District R-5.

BEGINNING. at an iron rod in the northwest line of Krenek Lane located
S 450 00' W - 1045.32 feet from an iron rod marking the east corner of the
above mentioned Williams et al tract;

northwest fence line of the said Williams et al tract;
THEI\CE, S 440 341 23"W along a fence line for a distance of 172..69 feet
to an iron rod for corner;
THEI\CE, S 450 00' Efor a distance of 753.35 feet to an iron rod for a
corner in the northwest line of Krenek Lane;

of 172.68 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNIl'G and containing 2.989 acres of land,

THIRD TRACT:
BEGINNING at an 'iron rod .in the northwe'st line of Krenek Lane located
S 450 00' W -.1218 feet from the iron rod marking the east corner of the
above mentioned Williamset al tract;

northwest fence line of said Williams et al tract;

And it is ordained that said change shall be effective immediately.
