AN ORDINAf\XjE REZONIl'GA{Z;ERTAIN TRACT OF LAND I,N THE CRAWFORD BUR:NETT LEAGUE IN COLLEGE STAT IO'N, BRAZOS COU:NrY, TEXAS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED I'N THE BODY OF THIS ORDINAI\CE FROM SI'NGLE FAMILY RESIDE'NrIAL DISTRICT R-1 TO MEDIUM DENSITY APARTMENT BUILDIN; DISTRICT R-6 AS SPECIFIED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORD.. I NAK::E. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 9, 1976 on the question of rezoning certain areas with- in the city limits; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following; To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Crawford Burnett League in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that 649.77 acre tract conveyed to South- wood Valley, Inc. by deed recarded in Volume 322, Page 670 o~ the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGI:NNIl\(; in the southeast line of Deacon Drive on the line between that 12.38 acre tract designated as Tract 7 in City of College Station Ordinance:No. 908 and that 351.677 acre tract described in City of College Station Ordinance .No.995. THEtCE, S 410 57' 27" E - 424.21 feet along the line between the said 12.38 acre tract and the said 351.677 acre tract; THEl\CE, S 800 44' 30" W - 152. 24 feet; THE.N:;E, :N 490 24' 20" W - 316. 21 feet to the southeast line of Deacon Drive; THEr{;E, 'N 380 30' E - 171.48 feet to the POI:NT OF BEGI.NNI,m and containing 1,25 acres of land more or less from Single Family Residential District R-1 to Medium Density Apartment Building District R-6.
