TO WHOM IT MAY CONCER_N:
This is to notify you that the City of College Station has received an application
requesting rezoning 'of a piece of property located within 200 feet of a tract of
land owned by you. This request will be considered in two public hearings to be
held as follows:
Planning and Zoning Commission: 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 5, 1980
City Council: 7:00 P.M.,. Thursday, June 26, 1980
Both of these hearings will be held in the Council Room of the College Station City
Hall, 1101 South Texas Avenue. The date of the City Council public hearing may be
changed due to action taken by the Planning and Zoning Commission. I~ the date of
the Council hearing is changed, you will be notified by mail.
The details of the application are as follows:
Location: TRACT NO.1 -- A 24.81 acre tract generally located east of and adjacent
to Texas Avenue and approximately 800 feet south of the
intersection of Texas Avenue and the East Bypass.
TRACT NO.2 -- A 63.69 acre tract generally located east of and adjacent
to TRACT NO.1.
Present and Proposed Zoning: Both tracts are now zoned A-O, Agricultural/Open District.
The applicant ~equests that TRACT NO. 1 be rezoned to C-l, General Commercial District
and that TRACT NO. 2 be rezoned to R-3, Townhouse District.
Applicant: The application for rezoning is in the name of Raintree Development
