NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
This is to notify you that the City of College Station has received an application
requesting rezoning of two tracts of land located within 200 feet of a tract of land
owned by you. This request will be considered in two public hearings to be held as
fo 11 ows :
Planning and Zoning Commission: 7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 17, 1979
City Council: 7:00 P.M.~ Thursday, June 14~ 1979
Both hearings will be held in the Council Room of the College Station City Hall,
.1101 South Texas Avenue. The listed date of the City Council public hearing may be
changed because of action taken by the' Planning and Zoni'ng Commission. If the date
of the hearing atCi.ty Council is so changed, you will be notified by mail. You are
invited to attend the hearings and express your opinion.
The details of the requested rezoni,ng' are as follows:

TRACT 1: A 66.33 acre tract located on the southwest corner of the intersection
of .UniversityDrive and the East Bypass.
TRACT 2: A 10.50 acre tract located on the south s.ide of University Drive and
approximately 1500 feet west of the East Bypass.
Present and Requested Zoning:
Both of these tracts are now zoned R~l, Single Family Residential District. The ap-
plicant requests that Tract No.1 (66.33' acres) be rezoned to C-l, General Commercial
District, and that Tract No. 2,(10.50 acres) be rezoned to A-P, Administrative/Pro-
fessional District.
