ORDINANCE NO.
k~ ORDINANCE REZONING A 6.638 ACRE TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN
THE RICHARD CARTER LEAGUE, ABSTRACT NO.8, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS FROM SINGLE FAMILY
DISTRICT R-l TO A TOWNHOUSE-ROWHOUSE DISTRICT R-3.
BE IT ORDAINED.BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF COLLEGE $TATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 .p.m. on
October 22,1981 on the que.stion of rezoning certa~n areas within the city lim.its~
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
Torezone.or change the classification of a 6.638 ~cre tract or parcel of land lying
and being situated i~ the Richard Carter League, Abstract No.8, Braz.osCountY:t and being
part of t"he called 50. 57a~re tract of' land described .in the deed recorded in Vo1um~ 302,
Page 274, of the.Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly
.described as follows:
BEGINNING at the fence corner found marking awest.comer of the before~merttioned 50.57
acre tract, same being the most northerly corn.er of a 5.16 acre tract of land now or
formerly owned by G.E. Madeley and described in the d.eed recorded in Volume 140,
Page 492, of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said fence corner being in a
southeast line of .Beverly Estates Subdivision to the City of Bryan, Texas, said Beverly
Estates Subdivision being recorded in volume 98, page 420,. of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas;
TH~NCE S 310 48' l6n E for .a distance of 4.59.74 feet to a fence corner marking the ,east
corner of the said 5.16 acre tract, said fence corner ma.rking an interior ell corner
of the $aid 50.57.acre tract;

THENCE S 440 26'.21H E along a west line of the said. 50.57 acre tract, a distance
of 455.15 feet for corner , same being .in a northeast line of the Cooner Addition,
said Cooner Addition being recorded in Volume 102, Page 151, of" the Deed Records of
Brazos County, Texas, same point being a west corner of a 9.920 acre .Commercial
Tract "A"; .
THENCE continuing along the coman .lines. of the said 9.920 acre Commercial Tract "AU the
