Subject: RE: Online Planning & Development Map
Julie,
Due to the way we had to restructure our published services a couple months ago, some of the layers that were in the
Planning and Development Map mxd were removed since they were duplicates (published ·n another service). Those
layers that were removed were then added back in to the on line map within ArcGIS Online. In AGOL individual layers are
automatically placed above any Map Service (the published P & D mxd), and t ey do not allow for the possibility of
placing a layer below or within another group/service. So unfortunately, the answer is no, I am unable to remove that
laye r from the grouping, or rearrange the web service to place the grouping at the top of the list.

Subject: Online Planning & Development Map
Mary,
We received a phone call that it was difficult to find the Throroughfare plan layer in the online map. I noticed that there
is a grouping called Planning and Development Map I Click to expand and that the Thoroughfare plan is listed under that
grouping. I may be remembering wrong but I thought at one point that group was at the very top of the layer list and all
the layers were stacked under it? Is it possible to move that group back to the top and place all the layers under that
group or move the layers underneath that group out of it? It just makes it more difficult for users to find certain layers if
they have to expand that grouping if it is placed in the middle.
