We hope to gain input from you on bicycle and pedestrian facilities and greenways. The answers you provide will be incorporated into the plan that we will work from for the next five years. Thank you for your participation. What are Greenways? Greenways in College Station are linear open space corridors that follow natural features such as creeks and rivers and their floodplains or human-made features such as utility, road or rail corridors. Greenways serve to manage stormwater and floodplains, preserve natural areas and wildlife corridors, and connect the community with greenway trails that create a bicycle and pedestrian friendly network that promotes healthy active living. I've never had to request services like this before. The place I used in Raleigh was already set up by our Marketing department so I'm not sure if I'm asking the right questions/requesting the right info. So it might work best to contact one and see the kind of response/questions you get from them. thanks so much for doing this. I realize I say that a lot but I'm actually accomplishing so much more with your help and it makes all the difference. : ) I've attached a list of things I'd like itemized in a quote. It might be a 2 step process in getting the quote. Look over it and let me know if what I'm requesting is clear. I guess we can talk before you start contacting them to make sure that I've conveyed what I need if the document isn't clear. I do remember in our training from purchasing that it's best to give them the same thing in writing so it's fair and I definitely want it itemized to see what pieces we could do in-house if the quotes are for an outrageous amount of money. I think the purchasing manual mentions sealed bids if over 15K but I don't think their quotes will be that much. If the first one you get is more than that or close I guess we'll need to rethink our strategy. When you get started on this -come over and I'll give you the companies to be contacted. The Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) provides address standardization and verification, improves the accuracy of carrier route, five digit ZIP, ZIP+4, and delivery point codes for mailing. In addition to providing address hygiene, the standardization provided by CASS is important when preparing files for additional matching or consolidation services. Move Update. FASTforward® contains more than 40 million permanent change-of- address records filed with the Postal Service by relocating customers who want their mail forwarded to their new address. These records reflect a thirteen-month period relative to the move-effective date the customer provided. Fastforward data is updated weekly. POSTNET Barcoding. Adding the required POSTNET postal barcodes to your mailpieces is one of the requirements to qualify for special Automation postage discounts. By sorting addresses to meet postal requirements, placing mailpieces in proper trays and performing all of the other requirements such as CASS and barcoding, your mailpieces are guaranteed to qualify for maximum postal discounts. Intelligent Inserting. By utilizing intelligent inserters, Xpedient can insert a different number of pages for each recipient, automatically without a chance for human error. Quality Control. To provide the highest degree of integrity, all mail pieces are coded with special barcodes that are scanned after the inserts are placed into the envelopes. This ensures that the right piece is in the right envelope. Electronic Form Overlays. Through the use of the latest in electronic forms technology, there is no need to split your mailing into separate runs. Our software can automatically overlay the correct electronic form "on-the-fly" base on the contents of the data.
