Box 9960 College Station, Tx 77840 979-764-3570 Re: Copper Creek Condos, 301 Southwest Parkway Detention Exemption Letter Erika, Section II.C.3.b Unified Stormwater Design Guidelines. I have conducted a topographic review and field investigation of the existing and proposed flow patterns for stormwater runoff from (Copper Creek Condos) to the main stream of (Bee Creek Tributary 8). At build -out conditions allowable by zoning, restrictive covenant, or plat note, the stormwater flows from the subject subdivision or site project a.ill no cause any ircreas2 in flooding conditions to the interior of existing building structures, including basement areas, for storms of magnitude up through the 100-year event The exemption that applies to this development: (1). Adjacent to Primary System Any development adjacent to the Primary System may demonstrate that detention is not beneficial to the system with an engineering timing analysis. The analysis should include all upstream development broken into basins of size similar to the development being studied and carried downstream until the development represents less than 2% of the total drainage basin. IN REFERENCE TO Detention Timing Analysis Update prepared by J. Chris Harris, P.E., CFM with Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. dated January 23, 2013. Sincerely, Michael G. Hester. P.E.
