City Engineer Development Services City of College Station College Station, Texas RE: Alternate Sidewalk Design— Second Street Apartments Dear Mr. Gibbs: The purpose of this letter is to request an alternate sidewalk pavement section for the above referenced project. The alternate sidewalk section between street trees will bridge the bedding mix material and consist of 5" reinforced concrete pavement, 1" sand cushion and brick pavers. The pavement section will provided is capable of providing support for standard passenger vehicles parking and driving on the sidewalk.
