STAFF REVIEW COMMENTS NO. 1
Project: Wells Fargo ATM (Spring Creek Commons)
PLANNING
1. This ATM is being added to a site that was previously approved. Since the addition of the
ATM is minor in nature, staff will revise the fees paid to reflect a $350 Minor Site Plan
Application and a $350 Non -Residential Architectural Standards Application. The original
fee paid of $932 will be reduced to $700 and a refund will be processed for $232.
2. Revise the site plan drawing to match the one previously approved by the City of College
Station on May 9, 2013. At that time, the location of the ATM was designated to be on the
end island adjacent to the drive aisle and at the back of the building. The location proposed
in the site plan submitted by MDM Services does not meet requirements for drive aisle and
by-pass lane widths. The ATM will not be permitted in the location designated on the MDM
Services drawings.
3. Elevation drawings of all sides of the ATM structure must be submitted showing the
structure meets Section 12-7.10 "Non -Residential Architectural Standards' of the Unified
Development Ordinance (UDO). The elevations should include materials as they will be
placed on the fagade, along with the percentage breakdowns for each material.
4. Materials requirements, which include minimum masonry standards, must be adhered to.
Stucco may be used, but it may not cover more than 75%. Please note that this ATM is part
of a building plot and materials should be similar to other buildings in the building plot.
5. Provide a general note on the site plan that states the following: signs are to be permitted
separately in accordance with the City of College Station Unified Development Ordinance.
6. Provide a general note on the site plan that states the following: Exterior building and site
lighting will meet the standards of bection 7.10 of the Unified Development Ordinance. The
light source shall not project below an opaque housing and no fixture shall directly project
light horizontally. Fixtures will be mounted in such a manner that the projected cone of light
does not cross any property line.
7. Please note that any changes made to the plans, that have not been requested by the City
of College Station, must be explained in your next transmittal letter and "bubbled" on your
plans. Any additional changes on these plans that the City has not be made of aware of will
constitute a completely new review.
