Water System Analysis Primary water supply line: Existing 8" line on North Forest Parkway & Existing 8" line on Raintree Drive PIPE2000 (Kentucky Pipe Network Model) 267 gpd (0.185 gpm) per residential lot Software model: Average daily flow: Peaking factor: 4.0 Estimated peak domestic demand: 1.5 gpm per lot (per TCEQ requirements) 1000 gpm Estimated fire demand: Pipe material: PVC (C909) Most Hydraulically Remote Point: Node J-16 (See Exhibit A) Conclusion: Applicable Exhibits: Exhibit A Exhibit B Exhibit C ExhibitD Exhibit E This is determined by calculating the lowest pressure under static conditions. 20 (min Fire flow conditions 12 (max) Fire fl.ow conditions The proposed water system exceeds the requirements of TCEQ and the City of College Station Schematic Water System Layout City of College Station Fire Flow Test Report 1 City of College Station Fire Flow Test Report 2 Static Flow Model Output for Carter's Crossing, Phases 1 - 4 Fire Flow Model Output for Carter's Crossing, Phases 1 - 4 CARTER'S CROSSING, PHASES 1 -4 MBESI # 10150006 Primary outfall line: Software model: Average daily flow: Peaking factor: P;pe Material: Manning's N value: Spreadsheet Notes: Conclusion: Applicable Exhibits: Exhibit F Exhibit G Exhibit H Sewer System Analysis 8" Line in Emerald Forest Subdivision Microsoft EXCEL Spreadsheet based on Manning's Equation 267 gpd per residential lot 4.0 PVC (D3034 and D2241) 0.013 The spreadsheet in Exhibit G analyzes the entire system for Carter's Crossing, Phases I - 4. It computes the anticipated flowrates from each area and the minimum slopes of the lines that serve those areas. It compares the computed slope with either the required minimum slope or the design slope from the plans. If the computed slope is less than the minimum or the design slope, the spreadsheet indicates the line is "OK". All of the lines in the spreadsheet on Exhibit H indicate they are OK and thus meet the design guidelines of the City of College Station. Therefore, we conclude that the lines are adequately sized and will easily carry the sewage flows that are expected to pass through them.
