Fred Paine, P.E., CPM August 13, 2012 Revised: September 4, 2012 City of College Station, Development Services c/o Alan Gibbs, P.E., City Engineer Re: Letter Acknowledging City Standards Lots 9& 10, Block 3, Tower Point Phase 11B College Station, Texas Dear Mr. Gibbs Post Office Box 4234 Bryan, Texas 77805 The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge that the construction plans for the storm sewer revisions for the above -referenced project, to the best of my knowledge, do not deviate from the B/CS Design Guideline Manual. Any alternate design or construction methodology that was used is listed below: Per 08/08/2012 Meeting with Erika Bridges 1. Inlet Revision Location: Existing upstream inlet relocated to access drive radius with 1' recess. 2. Inlet Conversion: Existing inlet boxes demo'd and converted to grate inlets - special detail utilized. 3. Drainage computations omitted - Inlets relocated with similar size & capacity, additional capacity provided by adding 5' inlet extension to upstream relocated inlet and the conversion to grate inlets for upstream and downstream existing inlet boxes. I also acknowledge, to the best of my knowledge, that the details provided in the construction plans are in accordance with the Bryan/College Station Standard Details except as listed below: Revegetation Requirements - instead of referring to B/CS Specification 32 32 19 Seeding for Erosion Control, customized, final hydromulch specifications for permanent erosion control included on Erosion Control Plan.
