Re: a few questions
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner ... I was on vacation most of last week. Please see my responses below and let me
know if you have any additional questions. Thanks!

Erika,
I have a few questions on both the 234 Southwest Parkway Review and the
Northgate Restroom Review.
Northgate Restroom:
Comment 2: This line is on private property in an easement. Do we
really need to profile it? it simply serves the trench drain for the
washoff area of the dumpster and is not a public storm sewer line. * After further consideration, this particular storm sewer system should not require a plan and profile drawing.
They are typically required for public storm sewers, but this would be considered private if this were not a City
project.
* The Prescriptive PUE can only have existing utilities within it. The proposed storm sewer will require a PUE by
separate instrument. * Please verify that you are proposing tying into a public storm sewer. If the system you are tying into is private,
a private drainage agreement will need to be signed. * The existing topography has runoff from the area generally flowing to the northwest. Is the storm sewer system
you are proposing tying into sized to carry this additional runoff? Please verify.
Comment 5: So, we need to submit a filled out technical design summary
from Appendix D? It seems that our drainage report would serve as the
Executive Summary Report-Is this what you meant by this comment? I
also have the same question for the 234 Southwest Parkway plans comment
23 . * The Executive Summary is required with all Drainage Reports. The remainder of the report must take one of two
forms: 1} Technical Design Summary as included in Appendix Dor 2) traditional prose report with maps, graphs,
etc. and answering all questions in the Technical Design Summary. * Northgate Restrooms -We will accept a drainage letter accompanied by a drainage area map, pipe & inlet sizing
calculations, and runoff calculations. * 234 Southwest Pkwy -Please submit Appendix D.
Comment 14: I asked Butch with the city for the fire flow data and he
said that all of the fire hydrants are on the same loop and therefore
should all have the same flow. Do I need to contact him for this
additional fire flow as well? * No, that's fine.
234 Southwest Parkway
Comment 11 : We show a 55' PPE and a 10' PUE on the plan in the area of
this comment. Is this the 65' PPE that you are referring to or is it
simply a 65' PPE instead of the 55' PPE and 10' PUE that we have shown.
* It shows a 65' PPE.
Comment 16: I think the discrepancy that you are seeing is because the

existing contours are shown and we have proposed spots shown for the
proposed grading and not contours. For such a small site with very
little slope, it seems redundant and not as helpful to show contours as
it is to show the detailed spots. Is it required to show contours on
this site-everything that I read was 1 foot contours OR spot grades at
specified intervals. * That's fine.
Comment 24 : Does the city have records of master drainage plans? * Each neighboring business has separate reports and mitigation. I'm trying to track down the drainage report
where the storm sewer sizing calculations are provided. It needs to be verified that the storm sewer is sized to
accommodate your runoff.
Thanks Erika-
