Box 11929 · College Station, Texas 77842 · Phone: 979-764-7743 · Fax: 979-764-7759 September 17, 2007 Carol Cotter Development Services City of College Station College Station, Texas RE: LETTER ACKNOWLEDGING CITY STANDARDS CASTLE ROCK SUBDIVISION, PHASE 2A COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS Dear Ms. Cotter: The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge any deviations from the B/CS Design Guideline Manual during the desi gn of Castle Rock Subdivision, Phase 2A. The following deviations are hereby noted: 1. The length of the 6" water line along Hollow Stone Drive is 851 feet, which exceeds th e maximum length of 800 fee t for 6" lines not c01mected on both ends to an 8" line. Note that on the Preliminary Plat for the subdivision, this line will be extended in a subsequent phase to connect with tm 8" line on Rolling Stone Drive. Whe n this connection is made, the line will fall within the 1500 ft maxim um length allowed for 6" lin es in the guidelines. No other deviations to the Design Guidelines were used in th e design. I also ackno wledge th at, to the best of my knowledge, the detail s provided in the construction plans are in accordance with the B/CS Stand ard Details. Sincerely, Ken~~ Project Manager
