Gate valve on main line approximately 460' SW and gate valve on main line almost directly across the street. I have attached an PDF that illustrates these locations; 2. There is very little bar-ditch upstream (approximately 200') that will receive and convey runoff to this point. Runoff then is conveyed into the bar-ditch and travels approximately 500' to 2-24" RCPs that carry runoff under Green Prairie Road East. When I did my original study for Creek Meadows -Section 1 A & 1 B I estimated that the crossing was significantly oversized and that a single barrel 24" could adequately convey runoff. I have not performed any tight engineering calculations on the capacity of the ditch but using some rough estimates I believe the bar-ditch has sufficient capacity (Q=AV where A=6 sq.ft. and V=3 fps therefore Q=18 cfs). From this point runoff travels through the Creek Meadows drainage and detention systems and to the taxed roadway culverts at Greens Prairie Trail and Royder Road . I do not believe these undetained flows will amplify the drainage problem for a couple reasons. (1) The detention system of Creek Meadows reduced runoff below pre-development rates an amount greater than this project's impervious cover increase, and (2) the detention system accounted for full-development of all sections upstream of the ponds. There are many sections that have not developed yet and therefore there is still "room" for this runoff increase in the pond . Development of Section 1 C's detention facility is planned to occur prior to all of the "original" sections developing. 3. Sleeving is required for pressure pipe. No sleeving is required for non-pressure pipe. Rabon A. Metcalf, P.E. RME Consulting Engineers 1391 Seamist Lane <77845> P.O.
