RE: Kohl's Building Permit and the Status of the Box Culvert Construction
Dear Josh,
The box culvert has been completely installed behind the Kohl's building with one
exception. There is a single 3-foot long 8'x5' box section with exposed rebar on one end
that has not yet been installed along with the headwall. The timing of installation of this
last piece will be coordinated with the forming of the headwall around this exposed rebar.
The box culvert, in my opinion, has been installed in sufficient length to fully function as
the main outfa ll for the upstream drainage. The site conditions will allow al l flood wa ters
to pass through this box cu lve rt and over the top of the box without flooding any adjacent
building.
I hope this has satisfied any concerns that yo u may have with regard to the effect on the
box culvert construction on any adjacent structures. I am happy to answer any questions
you may have. • ~''~"-'· ~ e,OFt. "''\\
