Thank you for the submittal of your NON-RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS
application. This project will be distributed to staff this week for their review.
Please note that the landscape plan and irrigation plan submitted with this application will need
to be included as part of the site plan application related to the driveway and parking
improvements on the site. While some documents were submitted to the City a couple weeks
ago, staff returned these documents to the submitter with the direction to resubmit them with a
completed site plan application for the proposed improvements. The site plan application has
not yet been submitted to the City for review.

SUBJECT: 1251 Barron Rd NRA Review
Staff reviewed the above -mentioned Non -Residential Architectural plans as requested. The
following page is a list of staff review comments detailing items that need to be addressed.
Please address the comments and submit the following information by any Monday at 10:00
a.m. for further staff review:
One (1) revised set of elevation drawings
Please note that this application will expire in 90 days from the date of this memo, if the
applicant has not provided written response comments and revised documents to the
Administrator that seek to address the staff review comments contained herein. If there are
comments that you are not addressing with the revised elevations, please attach a letter
explaining the details. If you have any questions or need additional information, please call me

PLANNING
1. Please note that the landscape plan has not been reviewed as it will be revised when a site
plan application has been submitted.
2. Please resubmit the revised elevations without the brick detail. Also, please continue the
hatching pattern of the proposed building material throughout the elevations and show the
additional shutters.
3. Per the NRA Building Review Minimum Requirements, please provide the legal description
of the site and the applicant's address.
4. Please provide a site location map for reference and building orientation. Rather than
labeling the elevations "side elevation", please use the location map to indicate their
locations.
5. Per UDO Section 7.9.8.2, two different architectural relief elements are required for every
45' section of facade facing the right-of-way and for every 60' section for sides not facing the
right-of-way. It appears that two sides have added elements so the facade will need to
come into compliance. Please provide and label these elements on the plan.
6. Per the conversation with Jason Schubert, two colors must be used on each facade. The
shutters may count as the second color so shutters need to be provided on all facades or a
second siding color would need to be added instead.
7. On the plan, please provide the following:
• Legal description of site;
• Applicant's address;
• Site location map for reference and building orientation. Please use this to label
elevations according to their location rather than titling them side elevation, front
elevation, and back elevation;
• Building's total square footage;
• Material use percentages;
• List of colors and use percentages.
