SUBJECT: TDI Brooks International Laboratory - NRA Review
Staff reviewed the above -mentioned Non -Residential Architectural plans as requested. The
following page is a list of staff review comments detailing items that need to be addressed.
Please address the comments and submit the following information by any Monday at 10:00
a.m. for further staff review:
Four (4) revised set of elevation drawings
Please note that this application will expire in 90 days from the date of this memo, if the
applicant has not provided written response comments and revised documents to the
Administrator that seek to address the staff review comments contained herein. If there are
comments that you are not addressing with the revised elevations, please attach a letter
explaining the details. If you have any questions or need additional information, please call me

PLANNING
1. Please revise the application to state that the project is vested to the master plan (including
the date of master plan) which predates annexation.
2. Please submit a photo of the existing building. Since they are part of the same building plot,
this building should have features similar to the existing.
3. The east facade exceeds the 30% maximum allowed for wood siding per facade. Also, the
wood columns need to be calculated towards the material square footage.
4. What are the door, awning, and roof colors? If they are not fond on the Color Palette,
please provide color samples.
5. Is the roof standing seam metal?
6. Please add the subdivision name, and lot and block number, to the legal description.
7. A building plot note must be added that states,"TDI Brooks International Center is to be
considered one building plot for the purpose of signage, Non -Residential Architectural
Standards, and landscaping in accordance with ordinances regarding building plots over
square feet in area." The blank shown here needs to be filled in with either 20,000
or 50,000. This number should be determined by the estimated building out of the entire
development. Please be aware that development will not be allowed to exceed the square
footage maximum allowed by the specified standard.
