Box 9660 College Station, Texas 77842 Subject: Rock Prairie West Business Park Sanitary Sewer ATA Project No . 0347-4080 Dear Gentlemen/Ladies, In response to comments dated September 29, 2008 concerning the plan submittal for the subj ect sanitary sewer line we have made the changes as requested, except for the following item. The maximum spacing for manholes is 500' per TCEQ and not 400'. Concerning Item 8 we have lowered the sanitary sewer although we disagree with the reasoning. The western end of the property owned by the Mikeska's (the additional lots to be served) increases in elevation and lies at the top of a hill. The increase in depth accomplishes no useful purpose. The natural grade provides ample slope to allow the sanitary sewer on the west end to tie to the additional lots. The case would be different if the grade decreases but that is not the case. Also, the entire sanitary sewer is contained by the referenced PUE. It is our understanding that Items 1 and 2 concerning the Fire Flow Report have been addressed by others. We expect prompt approval of the plans set. If you have any questions, please call. Sincerely, Adams, Taggart and Associates Lenwood S. Adams, P.E. Managing Principal
