STAFF REVIEW COMMENTS NO. 1
Panera Bread — NRA Review
11-00500096
PLANNING
1. The northwest fagade is lacking one architectural relief element. As shown, the dark brick
end cap projects so as to be considered a pilaster and satisfies one of the two required
elements.
Please add a note that signage must be permitted separately.
Attached signage may not project above the roofline more than 12". The sign that is show
does not compliance with this regulation.
Please identify what color is used for the "Silver EIFS" and all colors that will be used on the
various awnings. A color sample of each must be submitted so that Staff may determine if
there is a match within the College Station Color Palette.
'5 As indicated by symbol G1, "storefront" is aluminum. It appears that over 27% of the
V southeast fagade is "storefront" which exceeds the 20% maximum of architectural metal
allowed on one fagade. ntt6(/t" (k6kA ?/ b aGV,
No more than 33% of the southeast fagade can be on the same plane because it faces a
public right-of-way. The minimum fagade articulation to satisfy this requirement is 4' in
depth.

STAFF REVIEW COMMENTS NO. 1
Panera Bread — NRA Review
11-00500096
PLANNING
1. The orange doesn't match a color on the approved Color Palette. Is there a different color that
can be used? If not, it will be an accent color and can't exceed 10% of each facade. Also, the
awning colors need to be added to the color legend for each facade.
2. Painted split -face CMU was added, but this is not actually an allowed material. A different
material must be used.
I didn't comment on the first round, but there must be percentage included for the materials and
colors. Since this is required to be shown, but I didn't make the comment last time, 1 will add it
on there with your permission.
