Box 1100 College Station, TX 77840 RE: Capstone Leasing Trailer Fire Flow Dear Josh, As requested we have investigated the ability of the water system to handle a fire flow for the Capstone Cottages Leasing Trailer located at the southwest corner of FM2818 and Holleman South. We submitted a fire flow report for the Cottage Site Plan dated 3-8- 2011. In that report we modeled a fire flow for the Cottage project on the most extreme location of the system. Run #7, in that report, was a Peak Day condition with the Cottages and Future Development with a Fire Flow at Node 59457. This Future Development would have included the ultimate development of the area where the leasing trailer will be located. The fire flow used in Run #7 was 1500 gpm which is sufficient for a fire flow for the leasing trailer as well. The leasing trailer is a Type V-B construction with a size of 1316 square feet. Per Table B1O5.1 and C1O5.1 in the Fire Code, this size and type of construction requires a fire flow of 1500 gpm. Run #7 performed within the College Station design guidelines. Given the proximity of the leasing trailer to FM2818 and the 12 inch waterline that the fire hydrant will be located on makes the fire flow situation better than the one modeled where the simulated fire flow was on Node 59457.
