Mr. Phillips,
As also discussed, this letter serves to issue a written Stop Work Order for your recent activity at the
subject site which is in non-compliance with city ordinance. I have given a verbal Stop Work Order by
phonecall on Wednesday, June 15th. Chapter 12: Unified Development Ordinance of the College Station
Code of Ordinances, Article 3, Section 3.8 states, `A development permit shall be required prior to any
development, as defined in Article 11, Definitions, to ensure conformance to th provisions and
requirements of this UDO. " Article 11, Section 11.2 defines `Development: Any man-made change to
improved real estate that requies a pemit or appoval from an agency of the Ciy or County, clearing,
dilling operations, stoage of maeials, or the subdivision ofproperty. "
Kent Laza, as your engineer, has subsequently confirmed that trucks and fill has ceased to be delivered to
the subject site. Mr. Laza also indicated an application for a Development Permit with all appropriate
plans and documents were forthcoming to the city. Again, no farther work should proceed onsite until
related plans are submitted and a permit is issued.
If the indicated full submittal is delayed, an interim temporary grading / erosion control plan, SWPPP,
interim drainage impacts certification will be required to triage immenant drainage or erosion concerns.
Consistent with similar stop work orders, you have thirty (30) days to from the date of receiving this letter
to submit the necessary items for permitting as noted.
Let us know if you have any questions.
