I have given a verbal Stop Work Order by phonecall on Wednesday, June 15th. Chapter 12: Unified Development Ordinance of the College Station Code of Ordinances, Article 3, Section 3.8 states, `A development permit shall be required prior to any development, as defined in Article 11, Definitions, to ensure conformance to th provisions and requirements of this UDO. " Article 11, Section 11.2 defines `Development: Any man-made change to improved real estate that requies a pemit or appoval from an agency of the Ciy or County, clearing, dilling operations, stoage of maeials, or the subdivision ofproperty. " Kent Laza, as your engineer, has subsequently confirmed that trucks and fill has ceased to be delivered to the subject site. Mr. Laza also indicated an application for a Development Permit with all appropriate plans and documents were forthcoming to the city. Again, no farther work should proceed onsite until related plans are submitted and a permit is issued. If the indicated full submittal is delayed, an interim temporary grading / erosion control plan, SWPPP, interim drainage impacts certification will be required to triage immenant drainage or erosion concerns. Consistent with similar stop work orders, you have thirty (30) days to from the date of receiving this letter to submit the necessary items for permitting as noted.
