Here's what I found that is not correct on the Landscape Schedule: 1) It states there are 8 Crepe Myrtles but only 7 are illustrated. This reduces the point subtotal for them from 320 to 280. 2) Ten points were given for each Maiden Grass, Society Garlic, and Bicolor Iris planted. As these plants are less than 5 gallon in size, they only get a credit of 1 point for each plant. This gives 4 points for Maiden Grass, 10 for Society Garlic and 4 for Bicolor Iris. This reduces the points accrued from these plants from the 230 listed down to 18. 3) Not listed on the Landscape Schedule, but shown in gray background table as a planting bed on the drawing, are 14 5- gallon Texas Sage and 14 3-gallon Compact Nandina. This would earn 140 points (14x1o) for Texas Sage and 14 (14x1) for Compact Nandina to total 154 points in this planting bed. As a result of the above points changes, the Landscape Requirements table would change to: 4) Revise the Total Landscape Points Provided to 952 (1050-40-212+154), assuming all the plantings provided on the Landscape Schedule are planted. 5) Revise the Frontage Trees to state (1 Canopy & 2 Non -Canopy) are provided. The plan can be revised to reflect these change or given your authorization, I'm willing to mark up the plan to reflect them. I will need a full-size (24"x36") hard -copy that is legible though, as the attachment you provided has yellow and green font colors that are not legible when printed out. If you would like stamped approved copies back, please provide additional copies as desired beyond the one for the city file. I know this has taken years to resolve, it has been frustrating. Lauren Hovde first worked on getting the landscaping plan fixed, then me, then Morgan Hester, and now back to me. We got to this point because the landscape plan that was approved with the development of the site was not followed when the landscaping was installed. An updated plan has been needed to confirm the different set of plantings comply with the ordinance. We're almost there. As for needing to meet a minimum landscape requirement, all development does in some form or other. Non-residential and multi -family sites have the 800 minimum point like the one we are working on. Single-family lots have to plant two 2"+caliper trees or one 4"+caliper tree and duplexes must have a minimum 200 points. Whether on public or private property, all development needs to meet the community landscape standard adopted for it. Let me know if you have any questions. Also why does a private pool have to meet a minimum of a landscape requirement?? This is not a public pool, only residents and guests are allowed there........... I have looked at the plan but haven't had the chance to write up my response. In short, what is shown on the plan and Landscape Schedule does not meet the required points and plantings identified in the Landscape Requirements in bottom left corner. Also the attachment came across in multi -color text that was more difficult to read. I'll write up more details early next week. Have a good weekend and Gig'em.
