Box 9960 College Station, TX 77842 Re: Wolf Creek Apartments Drainage Report Amendment Dear Carol, The following should amend our drainage report for the above referenced project. 1 722 Broadmoor Suite 210 Bryan, TX 77802 In short, the only change in the drainage systems proposed for the project is to move the transition point from surface flow to underground flow at Drainage Outlet #2 back from the north edge of the project to the side of the drive aisle. In the prior design, the flows passed through an opening in the curb, along an open swale and into a grated inlet, thence under the graded slope and into the parks property via erosion control measures. In the new design, the curb opening has been replaced with a curb inlet, and privately maintained underground piping will be used to convey the flows to a junction box (the former inlet) then into the parks property as before. There is no change in hydrology, nor in the release point locations or designs on the project. At the curb inlet location, the 1 % flow is 8. lcfs, which requires a ponding depth of 2 inches over the curb for all the flow to be accepted by the inlet. The sidewalk between the curb and the buildings will form the ponding control so that all the flow enters the inlet rather than pass overland. The 24 inch pipe connecting the curb inlet to the public junction box has a capacity of over 10 cfs at this slope, therefore tailwater ponding will not be a problem. Please Jet me know if you have any concerns or further questions. Bryan (979)-268-1125 (979)-260-3849 Austin (512)-328-7878 (512)-328-7884 Fax
