George,
I wanted to follow up with you regarding our meeting Wednesday, April 17, 2013. 1 have checked the
Unified Development Ordinance and split faced CMU would be allowed up to 100%on the facades of
the building NOT facing Holleman or State Highway 6. 1 believe the side you were wanting to place it on
faced the trail area and not one of the two roads just mentioned.
Any split faced CMU place on the facades of the building facing Holleman or State Highway 6 may not
have split faced CMU.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any more questions please let me know.
Sincerely,
Teresa

George,
I just wanted to follow up with you after your recent conversation with Teresa Rogers. I am attaching a map of the area
showing approximately where the floodway (light blue), 100-yr floodplain (medium blue), and 500-yr floodplain (darker
blue) are located. Development in the floodway is generally prohibited. If the property is replatted, any development in
the 100-yr floodplain will be subject to our No Adverse Impacts requirements (please see the circled items in the
attached document). Parking may be permitted in these special flood hazard areas, but an engineering report
demonstrating the 5 criteria listed will need to be provided. I would recommend you speak with an engineer regarding
this issue before proceeding too much further, as some of the criteria may be challenging to demonstrate depending on
your proposed plans. A couple of other items to keep in mind are that detention is required in this area and the
maximum pooling height for water in the parking lot is 6-inches.
Please feel free to forward any additional questions. We look forward to meeting with you next week.
Thanks,
