Thank you for the submittal of drainage report for your SITE PLAN — COMMERCIAL and NOW
RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE STANDARDS application. This project will be distributed to
staff this week for their review.
Please note that this project is located in the WPC Wolf Pen Creek District and the application
will need to be revised to a DRB site plan application for their approval

SUBJECT: Cavender's Boot City Parking & Bldg Add NRA Review
Staff reviewed the above -mentioned Non -Residential Architectural plans as requested. The
following page is a list of staff review comments detailing items that need to be addressed.
Please address the comments and submit the following information by any Monday at 10:00
a.m. for further staff review:
One (1) revised set of elevation drawings (if applicable)
Please note that this application will expire in 90 days from the date of this memo, if the
applicant has not provided written response comments and revised documents to the
Administrator that seek to address the staff review comments contained herein. If there are
comments that you are not addressing with the revised elevations, please attach a letter
explaining the details. If you have any questions or need additional information, please call me

PLANNING
1. This property is located in WPC Wolf Pen Creek District; please provide a revised DRB
application.
2. Please provide contact information for architect/design professional on the plans.
3. Doors and windows should be calculated separately in the material chart.
4. Metal stars are considered an architectural metal, which can cover up to 20% of the fagade.
Please provide the area and percentage in the material chart.
5. Will the existing sign be relocated or is a new sign being proposed? If a new sign is
proposed, DRB approval is required and details should be provided as required in the DRB
application.
6. It appears that the faux windows will have signs, all signs required DRB approval. Please
provide details of all signs as required by the DRB application.
7. Please provide a note that all signs will be permitted separately with Design Review Board.

The below are my responses to the staff review comments No.2 dated September 17, 2013.
PLANNING
Comment: New A/C ducts are being proposed on the west elevation. All mechanical

Response: Wood boards attached to steel tube framing now shown as screening for
mechanical ducts. Please see sheets A02 and A03.
