The City's Traffic Engineer, Troy Rother, had the following comments regarding the Traffic
Protection Plan:
a. Especially with night work, f/aggers on both ends are not optional.
b. The vehicle shown is not acceptable; it needs to be a work vehicle with a truck-mounted
attenuator.
c. For night time work, flashing warning lights may be required by the TMUTCD.
d. Traffic Control Plan should show all traffic control devices used and the necessary
spacings. I do not want to leave the note about the "opposite direction" traffic control up
to the contractor's interpretation.
