City Engineer Development Services City of College Station College Station, Texas RE: Letter Acknowledging City Standards—Equinox Subdivision—Phase 1 Dear Mr. Gibbs: The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge that the construction plans for the water, sanitary sewer, streets and drainage for the above-referenced project, to the best of my knowledge, do not deviate from the B/CS Design Guideline Manual except that due to the flat terrain for the portion of the site adjacent to Rock Prairie Road, there is not enough elevation change to have curb inlets at the low point in Sophies Lane. A valley gutter for mid-block drainage is proposed in this location instead of curb inlets with storm sewer pipes. The valley gutter discharges into a concrete channel, which conveys the runoff to Detention Pond 1.
