ELEVATIONS A-2 - POST S Model (1).pdf
Ms Bullock
Pursuant to our last conversation about the building elevations for this project, please find attached
proposed revisions to those elevations.
Drawing "A", the elevation facing Southland Street, is now shown to have canopies over the glazed
openings (glass). The roof parapet now goes up and down. The sloping synthetic stucco soffit now
turns up the wall and extends to the top of the wall, and both are painted maroon. The decorative
gutterbox and downspout is also painted maroon.
Drawing "B", the elevation facing Wellborn Road has the same modifications as does elevation "A"
sans the downspout.
Drawing "C", the elevation facing the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center, now has added
glass block "windows" with canopies above them, and again, the gutterbox and downspout are
painted maroon.
Drawing "D", the elevation facing the back customer's parking lot, now has added glass block
"windows", with canopies above and the decorative gutterboxes and downspouts painted maroon.
To me the building looks like it got into a fight and lost. That up and down roof makes it look like it
broke off a few teeth, but if that is what it takes, then so be it.
Would you please look at these drawings and see if this will satisfy the requirements and please let
me know of your findings. f)el d

Mr. Philips,
In regards to the irrigation letter, soaker hoses are permitted. If this option is chosen, please include a general note that
states the following on the landscape plan,
• All approved landscaping will be maintained and preserved by the property owner. Replacement of material
must be of similar character and the same or higher point total as the dead or removed landscaping.
The following comments were some of my original comments from the last resubmittal that were not addressed.
• Drawing A—Can you label the where the canopies are like you did on drawing B?
• General—
o the colors are still identified as just"white" and "maroon". Please label the brand/name of color/color
id on the plans. We have a list of approved colors from a Sherwin Williams Palette which you can find
attached beginning on page 23. Sherwin Williams does not have to be used, but if it is a different brand,
please provide physical color swatches or identify the Sherwin Williams equivalent color. If the
proposed color does not match one on our list, it cannot exceed more than 15% per facade. Please
indicate the percentage that is maroon on each facade.
o If you would prefer instead of the new proposed roofline, you can do a pitched roof as well. The intent
is to not have the roof all on the same visual line.
• Please add a general note that all signs will be permitted separately.
Thanks,
Jessica

Attached, please find revised building elevations per your request. I did take your advice and showed
"pilasters" at the locations suggested.
Please advise of any other elevation changes

Mr. Philips,
Drawing A—Can you label the where the canopies are like you did on drawing B? Your email says that the gutterbox and
downspouts are painted maroon but the labels still show that they will be painted white.
Drawing B- meets requirements
Drawings C and D—both still need another element of architectural relief. Something like pilasters on around the
downspouts would fit this requirement.
General—
• the colors are still identified as just "white" and "maroon". Please identify the brand/name of color/color id on

Feel free to send the sheet to me by email again, but depending on the color choice I will need to have physical swatches
so I can match it will the list.
