SUBJECT: CSISD A&M CONSOLIDATED GYM EXPANSION (SP)
Staff reviewed the above-mentioned site plan as requested. The following page is a list of staff
review comments detailing items that need to be addressed. Please address the comments and
submit the following information for further staff review:
City of College Station Transmittal Letter;
Memo providing written responses to all of staff's comments (identify the specific
page that each comment was addressed on or the reason for not addressing the
comment);
One (1) 24"x36" of the following revised sheets CVL-1, CVL-2, and A2.01;
Easement Dedication Sheet and required documents (please note that the Site
Plan will not be stamped approved until the Blanket Easement, or all other
appropriate easements, have been dedicated to the City of College Station).
Please note that this application will expire in 90 days from the date of this memo, if the
applicant has not provided written response comments and revised documents to the
Administrator that seek to address the staff review comments contained herein. If there are
comments that you are not addressing with the revised site plan, please attach a letter
explaining the details. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact

STAFF REVIEW COMMENTS NO. 1
Project: CSISD A&M Consolidated Gym Expansion (SP 15-00900029)
PLANNING
1. Please provide a phase line for the area disturbed including a 20-foot buffer.
2. Please adjust the scale on sheet A2.01 looks like it is 1:30.
3. Please call Sam Weido at 764-6314 regarding the easement for the electrical work.
4. Please continue to follow-up with Steven Smith at 764-6273 regarding fire comments.
5. Please note that any changes made to the plans that have not been requested by the City of
College Station must be explained in your next transmittal letter.

LANDSCAPING/STREETSCAPING/BUFFER
1. Please show the barricade around the trees to be protected.

ENGINEERING COMMENTS NO. 1
1. Provide a 15 foot PUE instead of a 10 foot PUE.
2. Provide a title report confirming that there's no existing PUE crossing the proposed building.
3. Provide silt fence for the underground electric line passing between the sidewalks by the
detention pond area.
4. Provide Building type and fire flow on the site plan. Show existing fire flow demand and
additional fire flow demand required for the additional building.
5. FYI it is recommended to have a junction boxes where changes of alignments are made for
storm sewer system.
6. FYI it is recommended to have adequate clearing space with infrastructures for maintenance
purposes.

FIRE
1. Working with CSISD and Contractor about exits in the gym. They want to close off several
exits but still use the gym for games. Their architect will determine how many people can be
in the gym due to exit requirements during tournaments. Check back
