PROJECT: PEBBLE CREEK SUBDIVISION PHASE 9D,9E&9F
Wednesday,August 16,2006
At the request of Mr. Israel Koite of the City of College Station, Mr. Tim Richardson of CME Testing and Engineering,
Inc. traveled to the site of the project referred to as "Pebble Creek Subdivision Phase 9D, 9E & 9F" in College Station,
Texas. Mr. Richardson arrived on site at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 to obtain a sample of crushed
limestone base material for laboratory analysis. The sample was collected from a windrow of recently placed base
material along St. Andrews Drive at Station 56+10,4' left of centerline.
Laboratory tests performed on the base material consisted of particle size analysis (TEX-110—E). The results of the
gradation test are presented in the attached Table I. As can be seen from a review of Table I, the sample did not meet the
specification requirements with respect to gradation.
Subsequently, CME informed Mr. Koite of the gradation results. Mr. Koite instructed CME not to proceed with any
further testing on the sample.

Friday,August 18,2006
At the request of Mr. Israel Koite of the City of College Station, Mr. Anthony Muzny of CME Testing and Engineering,
Inc. traveled to the site of the project referred to as "Pebble Creek Subdivision Phase 9D, 9E & 9F" in College Station,
Texas. Mr. Muzny arrived on site at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2006 to obtain a sample of crushed limestone base
for laboratory analysis. The sample was collected from a stockpile of recently placed base material along the centerline of
Ballybunion Lane at Station 85+00.
Laboratory tests performed on the base material consisted of particle size analysis(TEX-110—E),the wet ball mill method
for determination of disintegration (TEX-116—E), Atterberg limits (TEX-104—E, TEX-105—E & TEX-106—E), and bar
linear shrinkage (TEX-107—E), as well as determination of the moisture-density relationship for the sample. The
moisture-density relationship was determined in accordance with the Modified Proctor test (ASTM D 1557). The results
of the laboratory analyses are presented in the attached Table I and Table II. The results of the moisture-density
relationship analysis and associated classification tests are presented in Report No. 95 (Compaction Test Report).

PROJECT: PEBBLE CREEK SUBDIVISION PHASE 9D,9E &9F
Thursday,June 8,2006
At the request of Mr.Israel Koite of the City of College Station,Mr.Reese Brown of CME Testing and Engineering, Inc.traveled
to the project site referred to as"Pebble Creek Subdivision Phase 9D, 9E&9F"in College Station,Texas. Mr.Brown arrived on
site at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2006 to collect four(4) samples of lime treated subgrade soils for laboratory analysis. The
first sample was collected from St. Andrews Drive at Station 60+10, 10 feet right of centerline. The second sample was collected
from Ballybunion Court at Station 94+75, 10 feet left of centerline. The third and fourth samples were collected from Ballybunion
Lane at Stations 83+15,20 feet left of centerline; and 86+05,6 feet left of centerline.
The collected lime treated subgrade soil samples were tested for pH determination and grain size distribution with selected
sieve sizes. The results of the pH and gradation analyses are presented in the attached Table I of this report. As can be
seen from a review of Table I, all four samples met the project specification with respect to gradation. However, two of the
samples (Lab Nos. 292 and 293) did not meet the project specifications with respect to pH. CME contacted Mr. Koite, and
informed him of the pH test results. Mr. Koite instructed CME to proceed with the testing required for the determination of
the moisture-density relationships for all four samples.
The moisture density relationships were determined in accordance with the Standard Proctor test (ASTM D 698).
Classification tests were also performed on the collected samples. The classification tests consisted of the Atterberg limits
tests (ASTM D 4318), and the percent fines test (Amount of Material in Soils Finer than No. 200 Sieve, ASTM D 1140).
The results of the moisture-density relationship analyses and associated classification tests are presented in Report Nos. 66,
67, 68 and 69 (Compaction Test Reports).

PROJECT: PEBBLE CREEK SUBDIVISION PHASE 9D,9E &9F
Friday,June 9,2006
At the request of Mr. Israel Koite of the City of College Station, Mr. Anthony Muzny of CME Testing and Engineering, Inc.
traveled to the project site referred to as"Pebble Creek Subdivision Phase 9D, 9E& 9F"in College Station,Texas. Mr.Muzny
arrived on site at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2006 to collect two (2) samples of lime treated subgrade soils for laboratory
analysis. The samples were collected from Cascades Drive at Stations 20+60, 6 feet right of centerline;and 25+00,centerline.
The collected lime treated subgrade soil samples were tested for pH determination and grain size distribution with selected
sieve sizes. Classification tests and moisture-density relationship tests were also performed on each of the collected
samples. The classification tests consisted of the Atterberg limits tests (ASTM D 4318), and the percent fines test
(Amount of Material in Soils Finer than No. 200 Sieve, ASTM D 1140). The moisture-density relationships were
determined in accordance with the Standard Proctor test (ASTM D 698). The results of the pH and gradation analyses are
presented in the attached Table I of this report. The results of the moisture-density relationship analyses and associated
classification tests are presented in the following Report Nos. 70-A and 70-B (Compaction Test Reports).
