Intersections. Level of Service calculations shall be performed for the following intersections, showing (a) existing traffic conditions and(b)projected traffic conditions,identifying site,non-site,and total traffic: a. South Earl Rudder Freeway(SH 6)and Greens Prairie Road(2 intersections) b. Lakeway Drive and Greens Prairie Road c. Woodland Hills Boulevard and Greens Prairie Road d. All site driveways(five assumed) 2. Data Assumptions. The following assumptions will be included in the analysis. Any change in these assumptions should be approved by the transportation planner prior to submittal of the TIA. a. Data Collection Traffic count data will be collected at area intersections as part of the analysis. Traffic counts shall be collected after March 17, 2008, when Texas A&M University and College Station ISD resume class after spring break vacation. In addition to Turning Movement Counts (TMC's) to be collected at the intersections above and 24-hour tube counts shall be collected at the following locations: 1. South Earl Rudder Freeway(SH 6)Northbound Frontage Road,north of Greens Prairie Road * 2. Lakeway Drive,northbound and southbound approaches,south of Greens Prairie Road �. b. Proposed Land Uses } Home Improvement Superstore c. Background Traffic An average annual growth rate will be based on research of TxDOT's ADT maps. d. Other Project Information To be provided by the City. e. Traffic Distribution Traffic distribution estimates will be based on the existing counts and on the most likely travel patterns for vehicles approaching and departing the project site. f. Internal trips An internal capture reduction will be used consistent with the guidelines set forth in the Trip Generation Handbook,published by the Institute of Transportation Engineers. Page 1 of 2 g. Pass-by trips A pass-by reduction will be used consistent with the guidelines set forth in the Trip Generation Handbook,published by the Institute of Transportation Engineers. h. Transit trips No transit reduction will be assumed in the analysis. i.
