Re: Fire Flow at 5376 Raymond Stotzer Parkway
Dear Mr. Cast:
We have completed the fire flow analysis available to the
fprropertyy
at 5376 Raymond Stotzer Parkway based on the following
you furnished:
The property is served with an 8" PVC Water Main 1.450 feet
etfrom
from
SUD 12" PVC transmission line and the Brushy
WSC distribution line.
The flow rate measured at the subject property was 1, 040 GPM at 38
psi residual pressure. Our calculations be obtained atndicate a flow rate of
the property location
1,500 gallons per minut® can
with a residual pressure of at least 20 psi.
The 1, 500 GPM flow through an 8" PVC pipe loses 3 feet of head per
100 feet. The flow through 1,450 feet of 8" PVC pipe would result
in a loss of 43.5 feet or 18 .83 psi.
The Brushy and Wellborn water systems can supply the required fire
flow of 1,500 GPM at the 5376 Raymond Stotzer Parkway location.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Yours very truly, ta #of

Re: Fire Flow Report at 5376 Raymond Stotzer Parkway
Dear Mr. Cast:
We have studied the fire flow capability of the Brushy WSC with
regards to the referenced property.
According to the flow test the 2 M," orifice had a Pitot pressure of
38 psi. Using the NFPA 291 Manual-Table 4.10.1 (a) Theoretical
Discharge Through Circular Orifices (U.S. Gallons of water per
minute) the flow for a Pitot reading of 38 psi is 1,150 gallons per
minute.
The flow test and report were prepared in accordance with NFPA 291.

pressure of 30 psi. Using the ETPA, 291 Discharge Tables the
discharge was 1,150 gallons par winute with a pitot pressure of 38
psi.
utilising the fire flow test results and the flow capabilities of
the brushy Water Supply Corporation Water System the City of
