71° regarding our July 28,2008 NRA submittal for Thomas Park Pool House Replacement.
Planning
1. 4/A1.1 displays an accessible parking sign detail, not a fire lane sign. Please move the
fire lane sign closer to the are not being striped as fire lane.
The It 4/A1.1 shows an accessible parking sign, and a note to replace the
graphic and text with the correct fire lane verbiage. We have done this
Arkitex one other projects, and saves space on the drawing. We have moved
Studio, Inc. the fire lane sign further down the driveway.

Staff reviewed the above-mentioned site plan as requested. Please address the attached
comments and submit the following information for further staff review:
Seven (7) complete sets of construction documents for the proposed
development with a revised site plan attached to each set (one set will be
returned to you, please submit additional copies if you want more than one
approved set)
Four (4) additional revised site plans
If there are comments that you are not addressing with the revised site plan, please attach a
letter explaining the details. If you have any questions or need additional information, please

Please find attached our response(s)to staff comments regarding our July 28, 2008 site
plan submittal for Thomas Park Pool House Replacement.

Please show the fire lane striping in the parking lot.
Fire lane striping and fire lane sign are now shown on the site plan.

The existing parking spaces are 9' wide, except for the handicapped
space which is 13' wide.
Provide a general note that all roof and ground-mounted mechanical equipment shall
be screened from view or isolated so as not to be visible from any public right-of-way
or residential district within 150' of the subject lot, measured from a point five feet
above grade. Such screening shall be coordinated with the building architecture and
scale to maintain a unified appearance.
This note has been added to the site plan
Please note that any changes made to the plans, that have not been requested by the
City of College Station,must be explained in your next transmittal letter and"bubbled"
on your plans. Any additional changes on these plans that the City has not be made of
aware of will constitute a completely new review.
The revised entry has been added to the Site Plan and bubbled.

location is shown on the site plan.
If any other parking spaces will be affected by the new handicap striping, please inform
staff.
The only parking space affected by the striping is the one adjacent to
the handicapped space. The dimensions are now shown correctly on
the site plan.

We do not understand this comment.

the scope of work. We're concerned that including this note would be
