Planning
1. Unless staff is mistaken, tax information is required for Property ID: 021600-001 7-
0015 for Phase 7A.
Response: Tax statements are provided with this submittal.
Engineering
1. Please verify that the proposed 6-inch water line can support two fire hydrants
1 without producing excessive velocities.
Response: The reason that 1000 gpm was chosen as the required minimum fire flow
in residential areas is because a 6"line is capable of flowing that much water at a
velocity less than 12 fps. The fact that there are two hydrants is irrelevant since the
assumption is that only one of them would be flowing at 1000 gpm. At that flowrate,
the velocity through a 6"line is 11.35 fps.
