Hillel Religious Student Center on one of the floor levels. This will increase the student center four times its current size. 2.) Indicate whether or not this zone change is in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. If it is not, explain why the Plan is incorrect. Yes, A comprehensive plan amendment request was submitted in accordance with the Unified Ordinance Guidelines. The re-zone request is in accordance with guide lines stated in the Unified Ordinance of the City of College Station. The following process will include public notification, review by planning and zoning commission, and final action by the City Council. 3.) List any other reasons to support this zone change. 1. Improve facilities of the Hillel Religious Student Center 2. Increase size and area of the Hillel Student Center 3. The increase will expand student programs and attendance 4. Provide multi-family residential complex off George Bush Dr. 5. Improve frontage and landscape off George Bush Dr. 6. Institute for Crypto-Jewish studies/Program with Texas A&M University Please also provide the following information for PDD re-zonings: Statement of purpose and intent of the proposed development: The mixed-use P-MUD zone will allow the construction of a multi-family condominium project which will pay for a new Student Center on one of the floors. The new Hillel Student Center will increase 4 times its present size A list of proposed land uses: Residential condominiums 50%, Religious Student Center 9%, Offices 5%, Retail 3%, Lobbies 2%, Parking 29%, and Storage 2%.
